CES 2012:Lenovo Android Ice Cream Sandwich TV

Lenovo unveiled its first TV with Android 4.0.

The Chinese computer giant Lenovo announced its entry into the TV market with the added bonus of offering the first model equipped with Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

Lenovo K91 Smart TV, 55 inch, which for now is only on sale in China, does not seem to be in any way affiliated with Google TV, but will run Android 4.0 as well as a secondary interface Sandwich UI, which act as host for applications and TV services. The television has a 1080p IPS display and comes with a dualcore processor at 1.5 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and a five megapixel camera integrated into the frame to allow video calling.

According to Lenovo's press release, this Android 4.0 TV will also be controllable via voice and brings a remote control with motion sensors and touch pad. It will also be compatible with the Lenovo tablets and smartphones.

Previously, also was announced the Lenovo tablet IdeaPad S2, which also runs the Android 4.0, has a 10.1 inch screen, is slightly lighter than the iPad and will be available in 2 models with 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB.

The IdeaPad S2 also has a portable base, which gives an aspect similar to the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime.

The complete listings of Lenovo smartphone is S2, which do not run the Ice Cream Sandwich, but Android 2.3. It has a 3.8 inch screen, 800 x 400 resolution, 8 megapixel camera and a 1.4 GHz processor single core seems to be a mid-range option very reasonable. ADS HERE
