Terrafugia flying car started

For about three years ago, a bunch of pilots and engineers from the American University MIT started a project called Terrafugia. Terrafugia is supposed to be the world's first flying car, and now it looks as if the plans will become reality.


The idea was to create an aircraft that can be folded away and also be used as a car or called flying car. The problem has earlier been to build Terrafugia in a manner such that it is accepted as a legitimate vehicles on the road.

Yesterday the company announced that it has conducted a successful flight of a production prototype of the Terrafugia flying car at Plattsburghs International Airport outside New York.
